TotalEnergies Ceran XM 460

The new generation industrial grease TotalEnergies Ceran XM 460 is formulated with a complex calcium sulfonate thickener and a high viscosity base oil (460 cSt), developed to provide superior protection for equipment subjected to high loads, impacts, high temperatures, and environments with constant fresh or saltwater presence.

Technical characteristics

• Type: New generation industrial grease with complex calcium sulfonate thickener.

• Consistency grade: NLGI 1–2.

• Base oil viscosity (40 °C): 460 cSt.

• Water resistance: Exceptional performance against washing by fresh and saltwater, maintaining its consistency and integrity.

• Extreme Pressure (EP) and impact protection: Thick lubricating film with high resistance to severe loads (4-ball weld load > 400 kgf).

• Thermal stability: Excellent performance in continuous operation from -25 °C to +180 °C, with a dropping point above 300 °C.

• Corrosion protection: High resistance against rust and oxidation in aggressive industrial or marine environments.

• Excellent pumpability: Easy circulation in centralized lubrication systems.

• Clean formulation: Free of lead and other heavy metals.
