TotalEnergies Preslia GT 32

The very high-performance mineral oil TotalEnergies Preslia GT 32 is specially formulated for the lubrication and protection of gas turbines, steam turbines, and combined cycle systems operating under demanding thermal and mechanical conditions.

TotalEnergies Preslia GT 32

Technical Features

  • Type: High-performance oil for industrial gas, steam, and combined cycle turbines.

  • Viscosity Grade: ISO VG 32.

  • Thermal Stability and Oxidation Resistance: Exceptional resistance to thermal aging and degradation, minimizing the formation of deposits, sludge, and varnish at high operating temperatures.

  • Anti-wear and Extreme Pressure (EP) Protection: Formulation reinforced with anti-wear and EP additives to protect highly loaded gearboxes coupled to the turbine.

  • Varnish Control: Reduced tendency for lacquer and varnish formation in control valves and hydraulic servomechanisms.

  • Excellent Demulsibility and Air Release: Rapid water separation and efficient deaeration prevent cavitation and ensure the continuity of the lubricant film.

  • Corrosion Protection: Provides superior protection against rust and corrosion in the presence of water or moisture.

Classifications, Specifications, and Approvals

  • International Classifications:

    • ISO 6743-5 TGA / TGB / TGE / TGSB / TGSE / TSA / TSE

    • ISO 8068

    • DIN 51515-1 L-TD / DIN 51515-2 L-TG

    • JIS K 2213 Type 2

  • Manufacturer (OEM) Approvals and Performance Level:

    • Ansaldo Energia

    • Baker Hughes (GE Oil & Gas)

    • Doosan Škoda Power

    • Harbin Turbine

    • Kobelco

    • NTC

    • Siemens Energy (TLV 9013 04 & TLV 9013 05)

    • MHPS / Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems

Applications

  • High-power, heavy-duty gas turbines.

  • Industrial and power generation steam turbines.

  • Single-shaft combined cycle plants and systems with a common oil sump for turbine and gears.

  • Gearboxes and speed reducers coupled to turbines subjected to severe loads.

Usage Recommendation

  • Consult the turbine manufacturer's manual to confirm the recommended viscosity grade (ISO VG 32) and specific OEM requirements.

  • It is recommended to implement a periodic oil analysis program (such as RPVOT tests and varnish control) to monitor the lubricant's condition in critical power generation facilities.

  • Store tightly closed containers in clean, dry areas, protected from direct sunlight.
